Samuel Bloch is a graphic designer based in Paris. His work explores multiple fields, bringing together illustration, graphic design, animation and type design. The ‘Song of Songs’ (in French ‘Cantique des Cantiques’) is a poem from the Old Testament. I produced a four minutes long animation of this poem for the Cent-quatre cultural centre in Paris. The narration was done by French actor André Dussollier. The piece was also exhibited in 2017 at the Chartreuse Notre-Dame-du-Val-de-Bénédiction near Avignon.
